Safeguarding Policy


At their meetings 2 August 2023 and 17 August 2023, the PCCs of Holy Cross, Sarratt and of St. Paul’s, Chipperfield agreed unanimously to comply with their duty under Section 5 of the Safeguarding and Clergy Discipline Measure 2016 to have due regard to the House of Bishops’ guidance on Safeguarding children and vulnerable adults. They adopted the Diocese of St Albans Policies for Safeguarding Children and Vulnerable Adults 2016. They accepted the Best Practice Guidelines of the Diocese. They pledged to work towards full compliance with the Measure and the details implied by the policies and best practice guidelines as soon as practicably possible.
